It's a Perfect Time to Sell Your Home

In December, Nashville area home sales increased by almost 14% from the same month in the previous year.  Here's a Nashville Business Journal article with more detail. The average sales price increased by 5.5% versus a year ago, and the total number of homes for sale at the end of the month was 10% lower than the previous year.

What do all of these numbers mean to you?

An increased number of homes sold at a higher average price.  This combined with fewer total homes currently for sale, are a recipe for an impending home sales rush.  With consistent mortgage rates in the 5% range right now is an absolutely terrific time to sell your home in Middle Tennessee.
